Most of the 55+ communities in Rancho Bernardo (San Diego California) are pet-friendly such Auberge Del Sur, Oaks North and Seven Oaks.

Auberge Del Sur has 2 dog parks ( one for small dogs and another one for large dogs).

Ocean Hills Country Club in coastal North County San Diego (Oceanside CA) is also pet-friendly.
