This one is a favorite. Our buyers were already Ocean Hills Country Club homeowners — they love golfing here, the lifestyle, the amenities, the whole rhythm of the community. What no longer fit was their two-story home; the stairs had become hard on one partner. They didn’t want to leave Ocean Hills — they wanted to keep living the life they’d built here, just on one level. So that’s exactly what we helped them do: a beautifully, highly upgraded, mainly single-story Costa Smeralda, with a little ocean view to enjoy 🌊 — won in a highly competitive, multiple-offer situation. Staying in the community you love while getting the home that fits your next chapter? That’s about as good as it gets.

These buyers came to us from out of state, where they had a lovely home on the water in Florida — but their hearts were set on San Diego. They’d been in touch with Ken for a good while, reviewing listings together even as they were still selling back home, so the groundwork was laid long before they arrived. When they sold, they made the leap: they moved to San Diego and settled into an extended-stay hotel, fully prepared to wait as long as it took to find the right home — no pressure, no compromising. Because they’d done the homework with us all along, the wait was short. Within a couple of weeks they found a lovely St. Tropez — a single-level layout in a location and community that fit their lifestyle perfectly. It didn’t just check boxes; it spoke to them. Sometimes the “long wait” is really years of preparation meeting the right moment.
