The closest medical facilities are Kaiser Permanente Hospital (San Marcos Medical Center), Palomar Medical Center, and Tri-City Medical Center.
Nearby shopping is at at Grand Plaza Shopping Center, on the southwest corner of Las Posas Rd and Highway 78. There are approximately 48 retailers at this shopping center, including Sprouts, Nordstrom Rack, other clothing, sports equipment, coffee, restaurants, fast food, dessert, credit union, pet supplies, specialty shops, beauty stores, dental and more. Costco Business Center is nearby.

We visited this San Marcos CA new build community by KB Homes and Ken Tritle, Realtor® with DreamWell Homes Realty met up with the builder’s sales representative, on October 17, 2023. According to the rep, Ridgeview is one of KB Homes’ last development in this part of North County San Diego.
Considering that home insurance can be challenging in some area, when asked about the availability of home insurance, she mentioned that KB Homes works with their property insurance affiliate to provide home buyers with a home insurance option at low cost (i.e. approx. $900 per year according to the builder rep). It is important of course to compare several insurance costs/coverages to find the best deal and coverage for your property needs.
We at DreamWell Homes Realty are always on the lookout for brand new single level detached homes for sale and are very glad that Ridgeview in San Marcos CA offers some single level houses. A majority of the houses at Ridgeview are two-story. It is nice to know that the two-story detached house has an en-suite bedroom downstairs.
